Description:

It's crucial that future leaders understand waste issues and how waste can be managed. There will always be garbage that must be dealt with safely, even after recycling, composting, and source reduction have done their part.

KAB's educational resources for teachers and students provide a balanced perspective of waste and the options for its management in clear and user-friendly formats.

The Waste In Place Workshop Planning Guide is a booklet designed to provide an overview of Waste in Place along with steps to
organize a local educator workshop and cost estimates. We have provided samples of materials to set-up a workshop including an agenda, letter and registration form, which are available upon request in electronic format.

Keep America Beautiful is the nation's leading nonprofit that brings people together to build and sustain vibrant communities. With a network of more than 1,200 affiliate and participating organizations including state recycling organizations, we work with millions of volunteers to take action in their communities through programs that deliver sustainable impact.
