|Community revitalization project facilitation (tree-plantings, community gardens, invasive species removal)|
|Post Date:||September 11, 2019|
Tree Trust has been bringing people together to transform the landscape of the Twin Cities for 32 years. We welcome requests to assist in the facilitation of community revitalization projects in shared outdoor areas.
Examples of Tree Trust's Community Forestry projects include:
• Planting trees and shrubs
• Removing invasive species and debris
• Developing community gardens
• Installing benches and picnic tables
The primary focus of Tree Trust's Community Forestry work is to plant trees throughout the Twin Cities. The majority of projects are done on public lands (e.g., parks and recreation areas). However, some projects can be done on land that is privately owned when the use of the outdoor space is shared by an entire community.
To request that we facilitate your community revitalization project, please complete and submit Tree Trust's Community Project Request Form, which you can download here: http://www.treetrust.org/our-programs/community-forestry/index.html#projects.
