Abstract:

The Wildlife Ecology Development Certificate recognizes specialization in subjects related to wildlife resources at Vermilion Community College. It is awarded for completion of 16 semester credits from a list of selected courses. Some courses focus on individual species such as wolves, white-tailed deer, moose, beaver, and black bears, while others take a more general approach. Field work and experiential learning is emphasized and analysis of issues related to wildlife is a key part of all courses. Online courses are available for a select number of certificate courses
