Abstract: 

Introduces young children to basic forestry and ecology concepts through many activities and illustrations. Includes ideas for science and county fair projects, "KidsCards" to cut out and use to help identify trees, and a foldout forest to cut out, color and assemble. For children ages 6 to 9 enrolled in the 4-H Beginning Forest Resources project.
