Abstract:

Sparticl is a web and mobile service for teens, a collection of the very best the web has to offer in science, technology, engineering, and math or STEM. Sparticl includes answers to science questions, images, videos, games, and hands-on activities, all curated by a team of experts.

Teens that register can start ranking and sharing content, recommending new websites - all while earning statuses and badges. Teachers can let kids explore science when they have free class time or are doing research for a project. You may also find that it is a good resource for instruction.

Sparticl is created by the award-winning National Productions division of Twin Cities Public Television, and is made possible with the generous support of 3M.

We welcome content partners. Sparticl is designed to be a showcase for the best STEM content, where organizations can promote their work and build their reputations. So we invite you to join us in this important effort to engage kids in science and engineering and help build the STEM workforce of tomorrow!
