Abstract: 

Provides recommendations for trees suitable for urban street, boulevard and landscape planting in southeastern Minnesota. Shows and describes the 6 ecological areas (Big Woods, Anoka Sand Plain, Oak Savannah, Twin Cities Highlands, Rochester Plateau and Blufflands) in this part of the state. Gives detailed information on each species (height, width, shape, fall color, suitability for being planted under utility lines, shade tolerance, whether there are notable flowers or fruit). For homeowners, urban foresters, landscape architects and designers, park managers.
