Abstract: 

Describes health risk assessment methods, data and uses of health risk limits for groundwater. A health risk limit is the concentration of a groundwater contaminant, or a mixture of contaminants, that can be safely consumed daily for a lifetime. This hand-out includes the table of 120 health risk limits for groundwater. These rules are used in various pollution prevention programs. They do not apply for public water supplies.
