Abstract:

Nestled among the limestone bluffs and hardwood forests of southeastern Minnesota, Eagle Bluff RELC promotes a balanced education and environmental perspective that focuses on responsible use, renewal, and appreciation of our natural resources. This goal is accomplished through high-quality educational experiences for learners of all ages presented by highly qualified teachers and naturalists. We offer hands-on and minds-on experiences for school students, families, and other groups interested in environmental education in a natural, outdoor setting. This interdisciplinary experience integrates science, math, social studies, physical education, and creative arts. As a result, each participant is exposed to the multiple options and perspectives required for making informed, responsible decisions about environmental issues.
