Abstract:

Composting of municipal solid waste (MSW) is an opportunity to process a large portion (30-50 %) f solid waste that would otherwise be incinerated or landfilled. This video discusses the need to maximize the reuse and recovery of waste, and uses facilities operating in the U.S. as examples of some of the trends in MSW composting.
