Abstract:

Who: Individuals, families and groups who are enthusiastic about keeping the city of Saint Paul beautiful and environmentally healthy.

What: Since the mid 1980's the city has sponsored the Saint Paul Spring Parks clean-up. Every year, the community comes together to remove literally tons of trash from Saint Paul's parks, parkways, riverfronts, recreation centers and school grounds. The city provides clean-up supplies, trash removal, recycling services and a "thank you" celebration. Volunteers provide the force to make this exciting event happen!

Why: Litter not only detracts from the beauty of our city, it threatens the health of the valuable water, soil and wildlife resources in Saint Paul. Volunteers will receive great personal satisfaction with helping the environment stay clean. Volunteers help keep litter from piling up on this terrific city in the annual Saint Paul Spring Parks Clean-Up!

When: This event takes place every spring during the month of April. Please call our volunteer hotline or check the website for this year's date.

Where: Parks, parkways, riverfronts, and recreation centers in the city of Saint Paul.

How: It's a community event you won't want to miss! To sign up, or for more information, please call Jennifer at (651)266-6458
