Abstract: 

Bill Nye and his troop of youthful scientists tackle the issue of garbage. All living things produce waste, but this program demonstrates how much waste people generate, how this waste is unique - and how humans can actually choose to reduce, reuse and recycle the garbage they create. This fast-paced video touches on packaging, composting, household hazardous wastes and recycling.
