Climate can be simply defined as how warm or wet a place is. In Climates Bill delivers hot sand from Saudi Arabia and bananas from humid Costa Rica, all to explain how different climates are created and how they affect our planet. Bill Nye shows how the climate of a place can be affected by location on the globe (the Equator or the Earth's poles), natural features of the earth near that place (such as mountains), patterns of air in the upper atmosphere, and the global effects of the oceans.
