Midwest Environmental Education Conference

The Minnesota Association for Environmental Education is proud to host the 2019 Midwest Environmental Education Conference. This year’s conference theme “Access Nature: Promoting Inclusion and Diversity in Environmental Education” will explore barriers that prevent educators and learners from accessing natural areas and having valuable learning experiences in the outdoors. 

Thursday, October 3: Field trips and lunch

Friday, October 4: Long-format workshops and an evening event featuring musician and disability advocate Gaelynn Lea. There will also be nature-themed trivia with local comedian and writer Lauren Chesnut! Lunch and dinner included.

Saturday, October 5: Shorter breakout sessions on a wide variety of topics and keynote speaker, educator, and community builder Asha Shoffner. Lunch included.
