The Ecology Book Club meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month (6:30 - 8pm) at Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve in East Bethel. We select books ~2 months in advance, and discuss a variety of topics: natural history, conservation, science writing and more. Join us for a provocative discussion! No need to have finished the book to join in and no science background necessary. Recent books have included Rachel Carson’s “Silent Spring”, Peter Wohlleben’s “Secret Life of Trees”, Darby Nelson’s “For Love of Lakes”, Elizabeth Kolbert’s “Sixth Extinction” and others. Questions? Email cedarcreekbookclub@gmail.com or visit our facebook page for information about upcoming book selections. (free, adults recommended)
