Without additional actions, water quality will only improve 6 to 8% by 2034. As a result, Governor Dayton recently announced a new goal to improve Minnesota's water quality 25% by 2025. The goal is meant as a call to action to the state to encourage public engagement and partnerships to address water quality issues. To achieve this goal, the Governor wants to hear from Minnesotans through a series of Town Halls.
The first of these Town Halls will be held in Rochester at Rochester Community and Technical College, Heintz Commons from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Visit https://www.eqb.state.mn.us/Townhalls for more information and directions.
Come and participate to hear your community's feedback and express your goals for Minnesota's water quality!
